Beamdesk Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of Beamdesk, developed by Kevin Tang. By using Beamdesk, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The Service
Beamdesk provides local-network Mac display streaming, remote input, spatial workspace tools, clipboard transfer, and optional information widgets for supported Meta Quest devices. You are responsible for the computers, network, accounts, files, and real-world devices you connect.
3. Third-Party Information
Optional weather and air-quality information can use Open-Meteo. Optional pollen information can use Google Maps Platform services when you configure your own API key. That content remains subject to the applicable provider terms, including the Google Terms of Service and Google Maps Platform Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
Use Beamdesk only with computers, files, accounts, networks, and devices you are authorized to control. Do not use it to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, third-party service terms, or network security.
5. Safety and Availability
Beamdesk and connected services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Keep your physical workspace clear and follow Meta's health and safety guidance. Room Awareness cues and weather, air-quality, pollen, telemetry, or battery readings may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable and are not for medical, emergency, safety-critical, or professional decisions.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kevin Tang is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, access, or device control arising from Beamdesk. Total liability for claims relating to Beamdesk will not exceed the amount you paid for it, if any.
